Cool Toasts
I found these toasts in Real Simple Magazine and thought some were worth remembering and sharing:
"May you have warmth in your igloo, oil in your lamp, and peace in your heart." - Inuit proverb
"May all your joys be true joys, and all your pain Champagne." - Anonymous

Hello! I'm going to make an attempt to draw you in to my web(site) and hopefully my services as a Professional Bridal Consultant by giving you the benefit of my experience (good and bad), my humor (which is evident in everything I do!), and my knowledge. Sometimes you just may read a quote I like or a joke I heard or a very handy tidbit I learned, but you will always come away with a grin on your face! :)
So here's what I want to share with you today - this is one you should store away for the most opportune moment - I will paraphrase...
A bride was preparing for her wedding day and she had the touchy task of having to deal with both her lovely mother and a young snippish step-mother and their bridal attire. The mother-of-the-bride found the perfect dress to wear to her daughter's wedding and when she showed it to her daughter beaming with pride the poor bride had to tell her mother that while yes, this "would have been the perfect dress" for her to wear to the wedding, unfortunately the step-mother had already purchased the very same dress. The bride was so overwhelmed with emotion and dreaded telling her mother that this dress was no longer considered perfect. But she mustered the strength and told her mother that her perfect dress would have to be returned and another selected for the wedding. The bride even offered to go shopping with her, but the mother-of-the-bride assured her daughter that she had everything under control and no, she would not need to return/exchange the dress - she would wear it to the rehearsal dinner.
Isn't that great!!!!! I'm going to remember this one for a long time!!!!
